GET successfully continues the development of projects in the field of Local Government, aiming at the implementation of Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs), in accordance with the INSPIRE Directive and the supply of “vertical” applications.
Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades is another Municipality that showed confidence in GET for the Development of the SDI of the Municipality with FOSS software.
The successful operation of the Infrastructure, which was completed last year, highlighted the dynamics offered by the use of new technologies and open standards, but also the necessity of maintenance and enrichment of the system with new information and functions, given the extensive territorial competence of the Services.
The new contract signed between GET and the Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades is includes the following:
- Expansion and enrichment of the Infrastructure with new datasets
- Services for the development of new applications
- Technical support & training services, as well as maintenance and hosting of the infrastructure.
