GET and DOTSOFT implemented the project e-Services for public use infrastructures management in order to improve quality of life at the Municipality of Maroussi. Objective of the project is the development of e-services (via web) for the citizens regarding public use infrastructures, such as road network, public utilities (nurseries, libraries), green spaces, public light assets, waste bins etc. Citizens have the capacity to identify accurately any damages or problems and to monitor the progress for their request. GET designed and developed, with Free and Open Source Software, Spatial Data Infrastructure which supports internal needs of the Municipality concerning Geo-Informatics as well as needs of citizens, professionals and third parties via web services at the GeoPortal.
