GET renewed the cooperation with the Hellenic Center for Marine Research for the production of the software required for the Research Program EMODnet – Ingestion and Safe-Keeping of Marine Data 2. The objective of GET’s work are included within Work Package 1 – WP1 “Construct and operate central Data Ingestion portal with services” and the maintenance and development of new functions of the existing Portal for data entry by certified users regarding marine environment. Project implementation is part of the research project “EASME / 2019 / OP / 0006 EMODnet – Ingestion and Safe-Keeping of Marine Data 2” implemented by the consortium in which HCMR participates. The implementation of the project will be based on the existing free opensource software (FOSS), which has been developed by GET in the context of the previous project.
