GEOSPATIAL ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES LTD (hereinafter GET), (www.getmap.eu), announces that during the period from 01/04/2022 to 31/12/2023, we will carry out test work trials of the Mobile Mapping TRIMBLE MX7 data recording system. The test work trials will be done with a specially equipped company vehicle, which will have distinct features of our company and will be led by a trained operator. The Mobile Mapping TRIMBLE MX7 data recording system will be mounted on the roof of the above company vehicle with registration number YNY 8299, and the trials will take place in the region of Attica, also in the areas of Crete, Cyclades, Peloponnese and Northern Greece. The system records five individual images, per recording location. These individual images create a panoramic image per shooting position. Once the quality control is completed, this data will be used, in compliance with the absolutely necessary measures, by permanent staff of the Company complying with the rules of the GDPR to verify the accuracy of the results and to study different ways of exporting and legally managing the information.
The purpose of the recording, which has as legal basis the article 6 par. 1 case in the General Regulation of Personal Data Protection (hereinafter GDPR) 2016/679 / EC and takes place in the framework of the legal activity of our Company, is the mapping and better understanding of the increasingly complex and rapidly changing external environment. Transparent, accurate and complete mapping of the external space, which is limited to the absolutely necessary measure, is necessary on the one hand to upgrade our services and to better serve the recipients of our services, private and public bodies and on the other hand to offer quality solutions to current issues related to climate change (e.g. the areas of green in urban areas), mobility (e.g. parking positions for electric vehicles), sustainability (e.g. type of buildings and green spaces) and safety (e.g. escape routes in case of natural phenomena and disasters).
GET fully recognizes and respects the importance of personal data, which we handle in the context of our activity, and for this reason has fully adapted its policy to the requirements of the GDPR and Law 4624/2019, with which faithfully complies, adhering to proper and appropriate technical measures for the protection of personal data.
The data subject has the right of access to article 15 of the General Regulation of Personal Data Protection (hereinafter GDPR) 2016/679 / EC to his personal data (photographs) contained in the primary material as well as the right to object to article 21 of the GDPR according to which may request their removal (data deleted). The primary data are not transmitted to third parties, and they will be used exclusively and strictly legally.
