The website https://lifeasti.eu/ is ready! It was created for the project “Implementation of a ForecAsting System for urban heaT Island effect for the development of urban adaptation strategies – LIFE ASTI” under the “LIFE 2014- 2020” for the “Climate Action” sub-program / “LIFE 2017” Invitation. This website constitutes the deliverable «First version of project website and Web 2.0 Communication Tools» of the action E1 “General audience communication and dissemination activities – community Engagement”, which contributes to the successful general communication and dissemination of project targeting at a variety of interested groups, to public awareness raising and community, as well as to an efficient management of the communicational activities within the project.
The website is being developed as the information hub for the LIFE ASTI concept, it provides information on the project’s background, objectives, progress and public outputs (forecasting products and information, as well as the heat health warnings) and it will regularly be updated during the implementation of the project and for at least 5 years after the completion of the project.
The project is funded by the European Union at 60%, while the remaining 40% is covered by each partner’s own resources.
