Municipality of Gortynia is the first Municipality in the country invested in the combinatorial solution of Spatial Data Infrastructure and Open Data Portal actually implementing the national laws 3882/10 and 4305/2015.
The SDI is a live mechanism that requires supervision, maintenance and enrichment regarding data and functionalities in order to remain modern and effective.
Under this framework, the Spatial Data Infrastructure has been enriched with new data concerning broadband infrastructure networks for all settlements/villages of the Region of Arcadia where there are detailed diagrams for active nodes location as well as supervisory display all files of the infrastructure to the boundaries of the Municipality
Moreover, the deliverables of the morphologic Rules Construction and Architecture conducted by the Ministry of Environment were integrated at the SDI.
For supporting citizens the SDI provides the capacity to manage requests – problems monitoring regarding public light network.
